SOBERLINK, Inc. is a technology company that invents mobile alcohol monitoring technology. The company was founded in 2010 with the intention to provide a revolutionary yet familiar tool to discreetly and conveniently monitor alcohol sobriety and promote accountability. Within just a few short years, this tool has proven to be an integral part of the recovery period for the person struggling with alcohol dependency, as well as anyone assisting with the process.
SOBERLINK helped create the “mobile breath” category with the launch of the SL1 – the world’s first smartphone Breathalyzer. In 2012, SOBERLINK launched the SL2, the first handheld cellular Breathalyzer. The patented device quickly became the fastest growing electronic monitoring device on the market. The SLBLUE, launched in 2014, allows for wireless alcohol testing using an iPhone or iPad’s existing Wi-Fi or data plan. SOBERLINK sells to two distinct markets: Criminal Justice and Addiction Treatment. Between Criminal Justice and Addiction Treatment, SOBERLINK has a presence in all 50 states and Canada.

2009 SOBERLINK’s first patent is filed.
2010 The first operational SOBERLINK prototype created, Beta testing begins.
2011 First generation SL1 launches and becomes world’s first Smartphone Breathalyzer.
SOBERLINK signs an exclusive distributor agreement with electronic monitoring leader, Recovery Healthcare in TX and OK.
2012 SOBERLINK’s first patent is approved.
Highly anticipated, second generation SL2 is launched and becomes the first handheld Breathalyzer with cellular capabilities.
SOBERLINK enters into a M2M partnership with Verizon Wireless.
SOBERLINK signs master distributor agreement in Criminal Justice with industry leader, BI Incorporated.
The SL2 is the fastest growing alcohol monitoring device in Criminal Justice.
2013 SOBERLINK’s second patent is approved.
SOBERLINK establishes itself as a leader in alcohol monitoring with addiction treatment.
2014 SOBERLINK receives over 25,000 remote breath tests per day and over 10,000,000 tests received to date.
